Faraway: Now in Pre-Alpha!
Faraway, my first game development project and kids virtual world, is now in pre-alpha!

Faraway is a multimedia game development project, and my most ambitious creation to date. I learned 2 different sets of software (GDevelop 5, Toon Boom Harmony) over the course of 9 months to bring Faraway to its current Pre-Alpha stage.
In Farway, users play as the mystical jackalope: an antlered rabbit urban legend. Customize your avatar with 5 different colors and 2 different pattern types, then explore the world of Faraway in whatever way seems fit- in Faraway, it's all up to you!

"Tales of Scuba Steve: Isfjell Point" is the second title in the award-winning series.

Mar Solace is a New-York based illustrator and senior at Parsons School of Design. She is a children's book illustrator, concept artist, and animator. Her illustrations for The Tales of Scuba Steve: Isfjell Point received a Certificate of Excellence in Literature from Story Monsters Magazine, and the other installments of the series have won various awards as well.
When Solace isn't working, she is listening to 2000's pop, playing video games, or making her friends laugh.
Solace creates feel-good works that invoke feelings of nostalgia or warmth. Art is a large form of escapism for many people, and she hopes to create things that comfort people through the hardships of the day-to-day.
